1. Underwrite the Company
We gain a clear understanding of your corporate objective, business strategy and how you execute in the marketplace. We attain a working knowledge of your strengths, areas of differentiation and areas where you feel you are the employer of choice.
2. Underwrite the Position
We work closely with you to clearly understand the requirements of the position. This discussion includes but is not limited to industry and interpersonal skills, background, experience, educational level, major accomplishments, related experience with peer organizations and all other competencies needed to assure that the candidate is qualified, motivated and likely to succeed in your company.
3. Research the Market
We conduct a thorough search of suitable candidates using competitor profiles, our data base, networking within the recruiting process, confidential referral sources and internet resources
4. Recruit the Candidate(s)
Our staff engages suitable candidates to confirm a proper match with your organization. We diligently pursue all positive and negative aspects of the candidate’s current position to assure that you and the candidate benefit should they join your company. We carefully convey the value proposition of your company and meticulously underwrite the candidate to your criteria. We articulate the benefits that would accrue to the candidate when employed by your company.
5. Present the Candidate(s)
We select qualified and motivated candidates for your consideration. We schedule all of the appointment times and formats to meet your approval. We assure that the candidate has an informed knowledge of your organization and is prepared to intelligently discuss all pertinent topics relative to the interview. We accommodate your interviewing style and format to include all interfaces within the organization.
6. Debrief the Hiring Authority and the Candidate
A two sided debrief is conducted following each interview. The purpose is to review all aspects of the interview, confirm the content of the discussion, and collect all positive and negative feedback and to identify next steps. If interest in moving forward is mutual we arrange the next meeting and assure that the candidate is properly prepared for the second or third interview.
7. Pre close the Candidate
If mutual interest continues will collect all pertinent financial data from the candidate. The prior year W2 plus a year to date pay stub are generally sufficient. In some instances production reports are also, beneficial. We establish financial expectations with the candidate and assure that they align to the companies.
We confirm the candidate’s interest in the position, the desire to move forward and identify any open issues which should be addressed prior to a consummation.
We work with the appropriate parties within your company to facilitate the employment application and all necessary background checks and medical tests, if any.
8. Present the Offer Letter
We work closely with you on the creation of the offer letter. We assure that the offer letter is acceptable to the candidate prior to it being issued. Areas of focus are generally the position, start date, geography, standard compensation plan, transition compensation plan, if applicable; expenses reimbursements, initial training, and major medical coverage and 401K program.
We prefer to extend the offer on your behalf but will accommodate your process. If we present the offer a signed offer letter will be provided to you upon our receipt.
9. Resignation and Counter Offer Preparation
We prepare the candidate for the physical and emotional aspects of the resignation. We assist them in the timing and the crafting of the resignation letter and the pertinent discussions related to the event.
We prepare the candidate for a possible counter offer and counsel them on the detrimental aspects of accepting one.
10. On board the Staff Member
We continue dialogue with the staff member during the initial phase of employment to assure that they are properly assimilating into your organization. Any concern we discover through the dialogue will be brought to your attention so that the expectations can be set and the issue resolved.
